Meet the Guides

Monie Carpenter

Guide Owner

My name is Monie Carpenter, I have been a fishing guide at the Calamus Reservoir for the last 10 years. I have 30+ years fishing experience. My goal as a fishing guide is to create the best fishing experience possible while developing lasting friendships along the way. Calamus Reservoir has some of the best angling opportunities in the state. I'm passionate about the fishing at this lake and after seeing it for yourself, I'm confident you will be too. Whether you live around Burwell, Nebraska or are planning a visit to the area, let me help you better define the, "best fishing experience possible," while exchanging ideas, trading stories, and making plans for trips to come.

Whether you're looking for a hands-on fishing education that you can take back to your own boat or simply looking for an enjoyable time on the water catching fish after fish, my guide service is one that you can appreciate!!
